Mentor log 3- 1 hour 30 min

I went to church again last night from 7:30-9:00. He discussed the topic of the last days again. He discussed how at the beginning of days the apostles were healing people and telling the word of god and 3 thousand people knelt down and started believing in god. He said that he believes if this happened and the beginning of the last days, it could happen and the last of the last days. He said that the apostles in Jerusalem were told to not do anything or go anywhere until their bellies were full of the word of god, so that it could gush out to the people. He explained this using the Niagara Falls, The water gush or pours onto the rocks, and he said this is how the word of god is suppose to be spread once one is filled with the holy ghost. Once the Apostles waited for the word from god, they started spreading the word telling people, moving from place to place and that's how the churches began to spread.

He said at the end of times, when people start to shut god out, he will push his way back in pouring his love out. He said what we need right now is not political, military, money, education, none of that; what we need is god, because we have no power without him.

After service I talked to him about meeting with me, and being my mentor. I don't think he had a lot of time because he suggest that I talked to a girl named Celia, shes been going there since she was 9 and she now is almost 18. I talked to her and she goes to Clarke Central and they have a bible study group. We talked about what my project is and that's exactly what she said they are discussing right now, the rapture, when, how, the last days, and so forth. These meetings will be every Thursday after school. Pasteur also told me he could get me the tapes of the days he preached about my topic and I could listen to those and take notes as well.
