Act II

A lot of the conflict started in this scene, to me uneeded and pretty obvious conflict. I feel like some one would talk and figure out that Iago is saying one thing to them and another to the other person and figure out hes full of lies. Or realize that he wants that spot so bad and is trying to make a fool out of cassio because he did get him to drink, like really naggin him about it. If I was Cassio I would start to become suspicious.

Another thing that I think might fail is his plan to make it seem like Cassio and Desdemonia are cheating. First I don't really understand how Cassio and Desdemonia will be together alone, if they are for that long at that matter. Then, I think that Desdemonia if she was being smart should tell Othello the very first time Cassio confronts her. She should be like, "Cassio came to talk to me bla bla bla" so then Othello would already know whats going on. If she keeps it a secret then he has a reason to get mad, because that makes it more suspicious.

I feel like Cassio is very gullible. Maybe he will end up being a bad guy and really hitting on Desdemonia or whatever. But right now I feel like he is being used, and I kinda feel bad for him. He was just trying to do his job, and everyone was partying, he tried to say no, but of course someone who is a good liar and good at persuading people, he gave in and drank. For now, I feel bad for him, that he is walking into a trap all because someone who he thinks is his best friend is a two faced backstabber who is very good liar is trying to screw everything up for him.
